This course is designed for students who would like to pursue a career within the Sport and Exercise Science industry. Students will develop the skills regarded as essential at degree level and within employment.

Course Assessment

Final grades based on coursework completed throughout the two year course.

With this qualification, students can go on to university to study Sport and Exercise Science, Physiotherapy and other sports-related courses. They can also consider employment as a fitness trainer or a sports coach amongst other professions.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above ideally including English Language at grade 4 or a BTEC Level 2 Diploma at Merit with English Language at grade 4.

In addition/ within those 5 GCSEs, for this subject you will need to achieve Grade 4 in Core Science, Maths and English Language.
OR
BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport (or equivalent) with Merit and Grade 4 in Maths
