Last week 19 A level Geography students spent three days in Dorset at Leeson House, a field study centre. The students spent time visiting the inspiring coastal landscapes and various towns of the area. They spent time on the beach in Swanage, testing the effectiveness of coastal management and Boscombe, looking at seafront regeneration. They collected high quality data, practised fieldwork techniques and used digital resources. The whole experience was worthwhile, with both students and staff finding the trip useful and enjoyable.
