English Literature students attend performance of Hamlet Published 02 November 2021 • News Before half term our A Level English Literature students attended a performance of Hamlet at the Young Vic theatre in London Waterloo. The students have been studying the play since September and were very excited to see it performed live on stage, particularly with Cush Jumbo (a female actor - The Good Wife, The Good Fight) taking on the role of "a new kind of" Hamlet. The cast also included Jonathan Ajayi, Joana Borja and Adrian Dunbar. The English teachers in attendance were really proud of the way our students conducted themselves at the theatre, and they all got a lot out of the performance, even if it was very long!
