Celebrating Diversity in Style: Culture Day 2025 at SFX

Celebrating SFX diversity at Culture Day

St Francis Xavier Sixth Form College was filled with colour, flavour, and pride as we hosted our much-anticipated Culture Day — a joyful celebration of the rich diversity that makes our college community so special.

We are proud to be a truly inclusive college, welcoming students and staff from a wide range of cultural and international backgrounds. Culture Day gave our community the opportunity to come together and celebrate those identities in style.

Throughout the day, students dressed in everything from national football shirts to stunning traditional clothing, proudly representing their heritage. The college quad and canteen were transformed into a global food market, with students preparing and selling dishes from across the world. All proceeds raised went to support local charities, including Ace of Clubs Clapham and Steel Warriors — both of which do vital work in our wider community.

The event culminated in a vibrant runway show, where students took to the stage to showcase their culture, cheered on by friends and staff. The celebrations ended with a group photo featuring the Principal, Mr Thompson, and many of the students involved.

Culture Day is SFX calendar and a perfect reflection of the welcoming, inclusive and community-focused values we are so proud to uphold.
