November 2023 GCSE Exams
GCSE English Language (AQA) exams take place on 7th and 9th November
GCSE Maths exams (PEARSON/EDEXCEL) take place on 8
th, 10th and 13th November.
Please note that
on Monday the 13th, there are no planned lessons but students
must come in to sit the exam.
Exam Start Times
MORNING exams start at 9.00am
AFTERNOON exams start at 1.30pm
Students should arrive by 8:30 am.
Contingency Days - Summer 2024 Examinations
There are contingency sessions within the Summer 2024 exam timetable –
the afternoon of 6 June and 13 June 2024 and the morning and afternoon of 26 June 2024.
Therefore, students must remain available on the afternoons of Thursday 6 June and Thursday 13 June and up to and including Wednesday 26 June 2024. Make sure you are available on all three dates even if you do not have an exam.
Any holiday
must not be booked until after this date, should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
